Along with the mainstream IVV awards, you can also work towards larger, more difficult challenges.
Europa Cup
Purpose: Get out and explore Europe!
Sports enthusiasts who participated in at least one IVV event in 10 European IVV member countries and 1 Europiade will receive the IVV European Cup award.
The IVV stamp inside the participant pass serves as proof of participation. All popular sports are counted.
5 Nations Cup
What is it? A challenge inviting you to enjoy informal sporting activities in the great outdoors and, at the same time, promoting public health and establishing international friendships.
The challenge runs for three years, 2024-2026, and will take place in the following countries in this first edition: Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Austria.
Participants are encouraged to attend at least one event in each hosting country.
The 5 Nations Cup challenge has two levels you can strive towards.
333 – For regular volksmarchers. The participant must accumulate at least 333 kilometers during the three years at participating events. The minimum distance for this level is a 5 Km walk.
666- For marathoners. The participant must complete 666 kilometers, and the minimum distance is 42 kilometers.
Felix Cup
Purpose: Spend some time in neighboring countries.
To earn this award: You must complete four walks in four countries. Ie. 4 in France, 4 in Luxembourg, 4 in Belgium, and 4 in Switzerland. (Total 16 walks)
“FELIX” comes from the Latin word for “happy” and “bringing happiness”, which emphasises the positive influence of hiking on well-being.
The four-leaf clover, a symbol of happiness, represents the cup. The four leaves stand for the number of IVV hikes and the IVV member countries to be visited.
The colors of the leaves, which correspond to those of the rainbow, symbolize peace, new beginnings, change, tolerance, acceptance, hope, and longing.
Challenge Cup
For avid walkers and marathoners.
Presentation IVV Europe ENGLISH
Condition of participation: Walk the year in kilometers per year. So, walking 2,024 kilometers this year and 2,025 kilometers next year.
